Dal Palak, Jeera Rice, Aloo Gobi Masala, Chapatti, Raita
This class is ideal for anyone new to Indian cooking. It starts with an introduction to some of the most common Indian spices and pulses and their benefits and an explanation of how different flavours work together to tantalise the taste buds and nourish your body. Aloo Gobi is a very popular curry made of cauliflower and potatoes and we will accompany it with a traditional flatbread called Chapatti or Roti. Thereafter we will make Dal Palak, which is a protein-rich lentil soup with spinach accompanied by cumin infused Basmati rice and a side of carrot and cucumber raita. All the items in this class are vegan except the Raita which can easily be adapted to become vegan if required.
