What should I bring?
You do not need to bring anything. The course fee includes the recipe sheets, refreshments and demonstrations.
How many people will be on the class?
The group classes are usually for 3 to 5 people and the one to one classes are for just you and the teacher, or if you would like to bring an additional person then just the two of you and the teacher.
What is the youngest age I can attend?
Children as young as 10 can attend as long as they are accompanied by an adult. Aged 16 and over can attend unaccompanied.
Do we take food home?
Generally, the food we cook is eaten within the class itself. Sometimes, especially in the vegan cakes class there is an opportunity to leave with a box of goodies.
Do you cater for vegans?
Yes, all of our classes are suitable for vegetarians and most are suitable for vegans. Those that are not, can be adapted or a replacement can be explained instead.
Do you cater for other dietary requirements?
When you make a booking, there is an option to give us any supplementary information. Please ensure you complete this in detail if there are any allergies or dietary requirements we should know about. We will then be able to let you know if the class will be suitable for you, or if an alternative is recommended.
How much cooking will I do?
The group classes are demonstration based and we do not use individual workstations. If you would prefer to have a hands-on class where you do all of the preparation and cooking yourself, then the one-to-one class would be ideal for you.
Do I need to take notes?
All recipes are provided with step by step instructions; you may annotate the recipe sheets with extra snippets of information or tips taught on the day.
Can I choose what I want to learn?
If you have a particular dish you would like to learn, drop us a message and we may be able to teach you it in a one-to-one class even if it is not already in the list of classes we already teach.
What if I cannot attend a course or class I have booked?
Please refer to the Terms and Conditions for further details.
